Ashua Imran (b. 1986) is a Singaporean multidisciplinary artist, creative director, and educator. He is the founder of Mural Lingo, a pioneering studio at the intersection of art, technology, and sustainability, and a National Arts Council Postgraduate Scholar (2025) currently pursuing a Master's in Digital Direction at the Royal College of Art, London.
His artistic practice moves across two trajectories. In performance art, he investigates power, vulnerability, and the complexity of human relationships, using the body as a site of tension, resistance, and transformation. Alongside live works, he explores strategies for documenting time-based practices through photography and new media.
Through Mural Lingo, he directs tech integrated murals and experiential installations that position public art as a platform for climate advocacy and community building. As an educator and thought leader, Imran delivers workshops and lectures on creative entrepreneurship, proposal writing, negotiation, and sustainability in the arts, equipping emerging creatives with the tools to thrive. He continues to champion art's role as a catalyst for social change and as a driver of innovation for the future.
