"In Photographic Conversations With…" is an ongoing series of collaborative image-making sessions that explore rope as a medium of dialogue—visual, material, and relational. Each iteration brings together two artists, often both photographer and creative director in their own right, to co-author a visual conversation shaped by shared intuition, improvisation, and mutual curiosity.

Rooted in rope’s ancient significance as a tool of survival, restraint, and connection, the series reimagines it as a sculptural and symbolic language. Rope becomes a frame—one that binds, divides, and guides—shaping relationships between object, body, and space.

These photographic sessions are intentionally open-ended. Rather than fixed narratives, the images emerge from the charged encounter between artists, where roles blur and concepts unfold through movement, tension, and the choreography of form. The result is not just documentation, but a study in visual reciprocity—where power, vulnerability, structure, and release are documented as dynamic exchanges.
