Biography

Hello, I'm A'shua Imran — an artist, educator, and the founder of a creative studio.

Over the past decade, through my studio Mural Lingo, I've led projects across seven countries in the Asia-Pacific, working at the intersection of art, technology, and sustainability, with clients including Google, Volkswagen, Decathlon, and WWF. Alongside my own practice, I've built the studio as both a production house and a platform for other creatives to develop.

As an educator I deliver industry-driven programmes on creative entrepreneurship, sustainable art making, and creative critical thinking in the age of AI, and have been invited as a trainer and mentor at LASALLE College of the Arts, the University of the Arts Singapore, and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. I'm currently a Master's candidate in Digital Direction at the Royal College of Art, London, researching whether intelligence can be human-nurtured rather than artificial, and how authorship stays with the person making the work.
